Our Mission

Brooklyn Perinatal Network, Inc. (BPN) is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of mothers, infants, children, and families in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1988 by Executive Director Ngozi N. Moses, BPN has been at the forefront of addressing disparate infant mortality rates and expanding access to quality health care in underserved communities.

Our mission is to promote maternal and child health equity by providing culturally competent services, advocacy, and community education. We work to ensure that every mother and child in Brooklyn has access to the resources and support they need for a healthy start in life.

BPN serves low-income families through a comprehensive range of programs including doula support, family peer advocacy, social care navigation, health insurance enrollment assistance, and maternal infant care initiatives. Our dedicated team of professionals and community health workers are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of Brooklyn families.
